Due to the coronavirus pandemic and following the measures imposed by the Government of Quebec prohibiting the holding of events until August 31, 2020, it is with great regret that Tennis Canada announced, on April 11, the postponement of the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank.
This postponement means that Montreal will host the best WTA players from August 6 to 15, 2021 instead of from August 7 to 16, 2020.
Our priority in the management of this crisis has always been to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our ticketholders, players, volunteers, partners and employees.
What does this mean for ticketholders?
All tickets purchased for the 2020 event will be valid for the tournament held in August 2021. We therefore invite everyone to keep their tickets, as the transfer will take place automatically.
In fact, you will simply have to show up with your ticket for the session that you have purchased.

The whole country behind the baseline
Rogers Cup is the engine of the development of tennis in Canada. In fact, 90% of the money that we successfully invest in the development of our sport each year comes from the revenues generated by our tournaments. It goes without saying that 2020 will be a year filled with challenges for our organization and the repercussions will be felt over the course of the next few years. However, we know that we are privileged to be able to count on passionate employees as well as on loyal clients and partners who will help us during this rebuild period.
